WWE’s international tour rolls on with the Bash in Berlin event at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. These events usually have fewer matches, allowing each one to be more detailed and story-driven. While not every match has an extensive buildup, there’s enough to keep it interesting. With only five matches scheduled, the show is likely to be engaging without dragging on. Here’s a look at the lineup.

Gunther will face Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. WWE is revisiting this matchup because of a mistake during the King of the Ring finals when Orton’s shoulder was up during the pinfall. This rematch allows Gunther to score a big win in front of his home crowd without hurting Orton’s reputation. It could also give Orton a reason to focus on Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship. The only problem is that WWE has made Gunther the bad guy and Orton the sympathetic figure, which could be odd since Gunther will be the hometown favorite. It’ll be interesting to see how the crowd reacts to Orton.
Cody Rhodes will face Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship. WWE has taken an interesting approach by having Owens hesitate to accept the title shot, though he explains it’s not that he doesn’t want it, but he doesn’t feel he deserves it. The match should be exciting, with Cody likely keeping his title. Any hints of Owens turning into a bad guy are probably misleading. Expect the Bloodline to show up, with Cody and Owens teaming up to fight them off.
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest will team up against Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in a mixed tag match. This should be entertaining, especially since Liv and Dom have managed to evade Priest and Rhea’s attempts at revenge. When they finally get their comeuppance, the crowd reaction should be great. Expect Judgment Day to interfere, which will add more drama, create more tension between Liv and Dom, and set up future singles matches between Liv and Rhea, as well as Priest and Finn Balor.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match: Seth Rollins won’t be involved in this match, and hopefully, they’ll ease up on Punk’s fixation with a friendship bracelet. Although Punk has slowed down a bit due to age and injuries, the match should still be entertaining if both focus on it. This match is likely setting up a bigger one, possibly Hell in a Cell, so Drew might get another sneaky win to keep the story going.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles: WWE gave Fyre and Dawn a title run to boost their status, which has had some success. The plan seems to be for this title reign to be brief, with Belair and Cargill set to reclaim the titles soon.
